I had a titanium hip replacement two months ago. Now I have had periodic metallic tastes in my mouth. Are they related? mouth

I have had two incidents (lasting a few days each) of metallic taste in my mouth since a July 29 hip replacement.  This is my second hip replacement (different hip - 8 years ago) and I do not recall this kind of side effect.  Could my metallic taste in my mouth be related to the titanium hip?
