I have trouble walking, swelling of hands, feet, lower legs, aches and pains. All of this came on suddenly following a diagnosis of and treatment for osteoporosis last spring. I was referrred to a rheumatologist by my primary care physician because it looked like I had rheumatoid issues. The tests proved negative. Last month, I gave up teaching because I cannot function. I look and act like a 90 year old woman. I am 58. I have never had health issues before this.
