husband briskly rubbed my arm after I had flu shot, now the site is warm, red and streaky and sore. Is this normal?

Husband rubs me down with lotion after I shower each evening, he forgot about me just having been given my seasonal flu shot that day. Two days ago.  Now my arm at the injection site is quite warm, with red streakiness and sore to the touch.  Is this normal?
