Born May 1968 with ruptured omphalocele. Repairs made over several yrs of surgeries at the Cincinnati Childrens Hospital. Have lived a fairly normal life with no restrictions, even giving birth to three children. About 10 yrs ago the problems started and surgery was necessary to clear scar tissue from my intenstines. The surgeon warned that the problem would reoccur. Since that time hospitalization has been necessary for only temporary relief and not real results. For about a year the problems have been getting prgressively worse. Have been to various doctors and noone either knows what to do with me or, because of the serious nature of this situation they won't touch the repair. Need some direction as to where to go with this problem and quickly. It appears the intenstines are protruding and there is a lot of discomfort.
