How To Curb Your Sugar Cravings And Snacking Urges

Stop Snacking At Work It’s a weakness most of us give in to everyday.  It’s a weakness we are not proud of, something we promise ourselves we’ll avoid day in and day out, but one that we break every time.  Then we keep telling ourselves, tomorrow will be better; tomorrow will be different.  But mere willpower is never enough.

We leave for work after a full breakfast, because all the experts say that not skipping breakfast will keep us from snacking.  We sit down to our office desk feeling positive that today’s the day; you won’t be making that trip of shame to the vending machine.  We’re going through our morning routine, when our stomach starts to grumble.  We try to ignore it by focusing on finishing that report, or replying to all those emails, lunch is only an hour and a half away anyway.  But our efforts at mind control are futile.  The harder we try not to think about it, the more we picture that sweet treat in the vending machine.  So we break under sweet pressure and find ourselves inserting a bill into the slot.  As we bite down on our sugary treat, we tell ourselves, tomorrow we’ll try harder.  But of course, tomorrow ends up just the same.

The mid-morning munchies should not have control over you.  You can have control over your sugar cravings, and curb your snacking urges.  It will take more than willpower, and here are some tips to get you on your way to snubbing that tempting vending machine.

Stay Calm.

When you get stressed at work, the urge to snack becomes stronger and harder to control.  One way to avoid indulging in your sweet cravings is by managing your stress.  If you efficiently plan your work load, you can stay calm and relaxed and saying no to those junk foods will be much easier.

Have a Fruit Stash Handy.

On your way to work, grab an apple or a couple of bananas to have handy for when your stomach starts grumbling in the middle of the morning or afternoon.  Snacking does not have to be bad, especially if you’ll be indulging on healthier alternatives, like fresh fruits.

Loose the Loose Change.

If you’re always finding yourself standing in front of the office vending machine, inserting coins into the slot, leave your loose change at home.  This way, you are taking away the choice of indulging your sugar cravings, and leaving yourself with only one option: wait until lunch.

Keep Your Hands and Mind Busy and Off the Sweet Temptations.

When you find yourself getting idle, your mind will tend to stray towards eating.  Boredom begets snacking, so keep your self busy.  Again, plan your day ahead to make sure that you have plenty of tasks to occupy your time.

Take an Appetite Suppressant.

I strongly recommend trying this out.  Appetite suppressants come in pill form, taken in the morning to help make you feel full for a long time.  These pills are safe to take and can make a big difference in helping you avoid excessive eating.

The best appetite suppressant product in the market today, in my opinion, is UniqueHoodia.  Hoodia ( Hoodia gordonii ) is a cactus native to Southern Africa which has been clinically proven as an effective diet aid by suppressing appetite.  UniqueHoodia uses the purest Hoodia in their product.

If you integrate UniqueHoodia into your dieting program/plan, you can loose weight faster and more easily.  Studies have shown that the product decreases daily calorie intake by as much as 2,000 calories.

If your willpower is not strong enough to curb your snacking urges, UniqueHoodia is the perfect reinforcement.  Learn more about the product and, I assure you, you will be satisfied with the results, and yourself.
