hi, should i stop taking oral anti-bacterial antibiotics even if not done even halfway thru the prescribed number? thanks

i suffer negative side effects the antibiotics currently prescribed to me. is it ok to stop taking them now that i'm quite well already with my original infection problems? i appreciate your help on this info.
