HGTV hood style

Posted Oct 23 2008 1:38pm
When living in a small 1-2 bedroom cinderblock box roughly 600 sqft you must decorate accordingly. Now to properly furnish your home you must find the largest sectional or sofa around. If the arm of said couch does not impede traffic into your home through the front door then it is too small. Next comes a coffee table that you must step over to move from the couch to any other part of the house (i.e. the hallway or kitchen). Once that is in place, shopping for the TV begins. To measure for your TV find the wall directly in front of the longest part of the couch and use that. Normally this is located next to the hallway. Next you buy the biggest TV you can find. 60inches is minimum but bigger is better, floor to ceiling and it must be able to stand alone on the floor or be placed on a table for support. When installing your TV you know you have it right when the edge of the screen hangs out into the entrance to the hallway. Moving on to the bedroom, each bedroom must have atleast a queen sized bed, 2 nightstands, a dresser (sometimes 2), a tv and possibly a chair. Then when your sick grandma comes to stay she must sleep in the room in the back with all the boxes of extra stuff also known as the guest room. To finish off the place find as many standing lamps, small tabes and some shelves. Fill them all with small and breakable objects and scatter them about the house. Voila! You have just created a master living space suitable for any hood.
