Hello Hanna

All night long Friday I was waiting for rain and wind and the storm that was going to keep people inside. Instead it was muggy, buggy and hot. The impending storm brought me a rash of crayzees. By 5 am I just wanted to know if a girl could get a wind gust and a sprinkle!? For pete's sake. My best "emergent, I really had to get out of bed for this" moment came at 0530 when I got called because the bottom of sum doods foot was asleep. He walked with me down 5 flights of stairs got in the truck and after I took his pressure and it was good he decided to go back to bed. I get back into bed and at 7am the wind was howling and the rain was coming down sideways. And of course. My shift was over. I get home, the rain stops. We get the worst of it around 2pm today. Yawn. It was a snoozer. I lost power for about 5 hours. It was hot so I went up the street to the fire station and hung out in the A/C. At work on my day off. yippee. Stupid storm. Hope everyone else faired well.
