  • Having arteriosclerosis or another disease of the blood vessels.
  • Being diabetic.
  • Having heart disease or liver disease.
  • Being malnourished.
  • Being obese.
  • Having a reaction to medication.
  • Being under stress.

Health Tip: Seniors, Focus on Nutrition

It's important to eat properly at any age, particularly for seniors.

The American Academy of Family Physicians says malnutrition in seniors can lead to a range of additional health problems
  • Unintended weight loss.
  • Fatigue.
  • Muscle weakening and lack of strength.
  • Feeling depressed.
  • Memory loss.
  • Compromised immunity from infection.
  • Anemia.
