Girls’ Night Out ’13 Takes Randallstown by Color Storm

On Thursday, October 24, it was standing room only for the program at Girls’ Night Out ’13: Color Me Healthy, a free event held at Northwest Hospital to celebrate women’s health. Hundreds of women from the community showed up for free health screenings, to get information from health experts and to hear an all-female panel of doctors answer their questions. The night was full of lots of fun too and included entertainment from comedian Poppy Champlin, a photo booth, boutique vendors, heavy healthy appetizers, wine and ice tea. Attendees received generous goody bags and a three ring folder filled with some practical tips on a variety of health topics. Plus, plenty of gifts were raffled off, including a Raleigh Detour 2.5 women’s bike donated by HUB/C’Ville Bikes and a Vitamix© 6300 high-powered blender donated by the Vitamix Corporation.
