Last night around 8:30 p.m. I had severe abdominal pain - with nausea, inability to catch my breath easily, followed by vomiting. It improved for awhile and then would resume with less intensity off and on all night (no more vomiting though). I had gas formation (belching, and some regurgitating) and several bowel movements (normal in appearance). About 12 years ago, I was diagnosed as having 'sludge' in my gall bladder. Really haven't had any serious problems since then but this episode fits all the descriptions of a gall bladder attack. Of course, I'm one of those who doesn't want to go to a hospital unless absolutely necessary so..... today I have stayed in bed. Not wanting to eat but did make myself eat some saltines....no issues with that. I don't feel too bad now....just a little weak which I would expect....but, my urine is dark (I wouldn't call it coffee colored but definitely a darker yellow than normal....thought maybe dehydration?) I'm trying to drink more water now.....no other symptoms at this time. Eyes are bloodshot from lack of sleep but don't appear yellow. Planning on going to the Dr. on Monday....just wondering if I'm putting myself in danger by waiting until then???
