One of my goals for 2013 is try to get more nutrients from food instead of artificial supplements. This week I started using beef liver tablets. Of course, one could argue that since it is in tablets that this is a supplement. But in my view, it’s a whole-food tablet as compared to an artificially created supplement.
Anyways, I have been using the beef liver this week, grinding up a couple of tabs in my morning smoothie. So far so good. There have been no negative effects, and perhaps an energy boost though this could be the placebo effect.
