Flu vaccine while taking Mercaptopurine.

I have Crohn's Disease and have bee taking Mercaptopurine for several years. I was previously told that I should not get a flu vaccination while on the drug. I have recently learned of other individuals taking the drug who do get the flu vaccine. What is your opinion and what about the h1n1 vaccine?

My GI said yes, to get the H1N1 vaccine ASAP. He said to be sure and get the shot, not the live version. I got mine 6 days ago, and have not noticed any difference.
