Evening Interval Training

Since I’m a fan of post-dinner exercise, I decided to try some evening interval training.  Most of the time my post-dinner exercise is lighter exercise – easy running or light lifting.  But I wanted to give interval training a shot to see what would happen.

The results were not good!  While the workout went fine, it was too much of a stimulus that late at night.  My heart rate was still high when I went to bed and also the next morning.

I will stick to lighter exercise in the evening.
