Dr. Oscar Taube Honored with Special Achievement Award from American Academy of Pediatrics

Dr. Oscar Taube, a primary care physician and division director for Adolescent Medicine/Outpatient Services at The Herman & Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital at Sinai, has been honored with a Special Achievement Award from the Maryland chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). According to its website, the AAP “has had a long and distinguished history of advocacy and support for Maryland children and their health care needs.
The mission ‘to support and encourage pediatricians in the promotion of optimal health for all of Maryland’s children and adolescents’ speaks to the commitment to the health and well being of all children.” The Special Achievement award honors “a physician, currently a Maryland resident, who over an entire career has made an outstanding contribution to child health through research, service or educational endeavors.” Dr. Taube is certainly all of these things.
