I have been suffering from persistent or severe muscle cramps since April 2009. I have had 3 lower lumbar surgeries w/in the past four years. The last resulted in a full fusion on the L spine. I am a 29 y/o female. I have two possible diagnosis's for the degenerative disease; Lupus or R.A. . I also have damage of the S-1 nerve on the right side of my body. The cramps are very common and happen at night while I am sleeping. The cramps are always involve my right leg skeletal muscles and can last all night w/o relief. Could these cramps be neurologically or disease related?
