Clean Out Your Ears!

Posted by C.L. R.

I wore earplugs for years and have recently suffered from a lot of motion sickness. I no longer wear earplugs, but wonder if that may have had anything to do with my current situation. My question is, has anyone ever done an ear cleaning like candling, did it hurt and what were it's benefits?

Ear Candling is the Way to Go. Ear candling is a great natural way to clean out your ears, and the process is fairly simple, too. You place one end of the ear candle into your ear, while the other one is lit. A gentle vacuum is then created, which helps to soften and dislodge the wax and impurities hiding in your ears. It's a safe and very effective way of cleaning out your ears, especially considering that there's a lot of wax and other gunk that can't be reached by Q-tips or other cleaning implements. Also, wax, fungus, infection residues, and fat globules can build up in the ears and hide inside the folds, which can cause all kinds of health problems. Those with an accumulation of the harmful candida yeast typically have fungus in their ears, since the dark, moist space provides a nice place for bacteria to breed. Overall, everyone can benefit from having their ears cleaned.
Here's the Easy Way to Do It. I have never tried ear candling, but my family has used Murine to clear out ear wax for decades. It's available at any drugstore and since it was used on me as a kid it seems safe enough. You pour some drops into your ear and it eats away at the wax. It's very easy to use. Still, if you suffer from dizzy spells you might want to check with your doctor before putting anything (candle or otherwise) into your ears.
