What could be causing excruiating pain and numbness in my right arm and fingers to the point that I'm awakened from my sleep?

Priscilla,

This kind of pain and numbness could be any number of things. It could be a pinched nerve, a blood clot, many things. There's also a chance that it's heart related. Women have far different heart attack symptoms than men.

You really need to see your doctor about this.

Good luck,
Teri

Priscilla,

I agree that you need to see your doctor about this. But, if your doctors are unable to find a reason for your pain or diagnose you with "tendonitis" or "carpal tunnel syndrome"  please check out the website http://www.tendonitisexpert.com  before taking drugs or having any surgeries.
