September is Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month. There are so many stories going around about what tests to use for screening and we get many questions in the office after every news item airs. Lynda and I have written an article summarizing the current guidelines on cancer screening for both men and women and a discussion of problems with some of the blood tests often marketed to the public for screening, such as the CEA test and the CA-125 test.
