As a baby, I was an avid fan of sucking on my right pointer finger in the womb. Unfortunately, because of this, my fingernail hardened into a tent shape and has remained that way. Due to this, it is extremely painful to trim the fingernail on that particular finger, and it often results in bleeding and a few days of neosporin and band-aids.
Is there anything that can be done to repair this? As I get older, that pain gets more severe each trim, and I would love to know if I could reverse it.
