Caffeine Helps Decrease Muscle Pain During Exercise

In an article released in this month’s issue of The Journal of Sports Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism, researchers at the University of Illinois evaluated the effect of caffeine on muscle pain during exercise. The researchers divided 25 fit, college-aged males into two groups; participants who had low caffeine intakes and participants who had an average caffeine intake the equivalent of 3-4 cups a day.
