For the past 3 weeks I have a fairly severe dry throat irritation. This is causing periodic coughing fits. My throat becoms blocked sometimes and I cannot breath.
Chest is clear. A bit of clear mucus.
I also notice my lower inner lip is bright red and sore. Not responding to usual lip therapy products.
I am a male 60yrs old, living in the hot tropics- Darwin. My Dr has requested blood test for Pertussis, Legionella and Mycoplasma. Prescribed Clarithromycin. No improvement after 3 days on this medication.
