This hypnotherapy mind guy came in, was very interesting. Talked about peoples beliefs, not just with religion, but what they choose to believe. It had me thinking, and I know Tom thinks like this every day because he is loaded with philosophical rubbish.
“I think, therefore I am” (Rene Descartes).
So this guy sat down, and tried to come up with anything that he could say for certain, i.e. I have hands, I can rub them together, therefore I have hands… (I think thats how he described it).
The thing was, Descartes could only come up with one thing that could be said without one shred of doubt, and that was the above.
Anyway, I think that I have learned to be a bit more tolerant of some things and some people. Not that I would ever publicly voice my feelings, that would be wrong.. but sometimes I just don’t get how some people can go about chatting about religion and all this.
People believe because its what helps them get through life with a sense of meaning, and some need that. So fair enough.

I actually learned a lesson today.
