I recently had blood work done for the following: PTT, FERRITIN, IRON/TIBC,FOLIC ACID, VIT B-12, ANA, MITOCHONDRIAL, TRANSFERRIN, CBC, PT, CMP. My Dr's office told me yesterday all came back normal. However, I am having unexplained bruising on my thighs, as a matter of fact I just got a large bruise about 10 minutes ago. I realized I was bruising because I started feeling some mild pain, and when I looked at my leg, I noticed the bruise. I can see many veins in the area and I also see many tiny tiny purple dots. The area currently feels hard and somewhat swollen... What can be causing this?
