A Tea Totaler's Tea Dilemma

Posted Aug 24 08 1:38pm

I am in the midst of a tea dilemma. Since I adopted Coca Tea back into my life two years ago, the tea totaler in me has still continued to purchase various herbal and caffeinated teas according to my normal tastes. The problem is, I don't seem to be drinking them anymore!

Here's how it goes:

"I need a morning tea boost" - instead of reaching for the Red Rose, I find myself reaching towards my Coca Tea stash and finding this boosts me just fine.

"I need an afternoon tea to enjoy with a cookie or scone" - well, instead of reaching for my staple, Earl Grey, I find myself grabbing a Coca Tea bag instead. The light taste complements an afternoon snack just fine.

"I need to calm my stomach" - Instead of reaching for the mint teas or chamomile, Coca Tea has become MORE than my staple tea in this area.

"I have a cold, I need some lemon tea" - Instead of reaching for the lemon zinger, I find myself leaning on my Coca Tea to help me get through some of the symptoms of a cold. I have the benefit of stomach relief too.

"I just want a light herbal tea" - Instead of reaching for a Tension Tamer or Tangerine tea (or some other light herbal blend), I seemed to have replaced this ritual too with Coca Tea.

I, personally, love my coffee. So I don't see this replacement happening (for me) ever. Coffee is part of my morning ritual and I am addicted to my K-cup machine. However, the tea totaler in me is now left with a supply of tea that I don't seem to be drinking anymore.

It's time to see if my family would like to have some of it :-)
