What should I do with my indoorJasmine plant that lost all of it's leaves last winter.

I live in South East Minnesota and I purchased a Jasmine plant in September on sale at Bachman's and brought it home and have kept it inside since. Early in the winter it started losing all of it's leaves and is still bare. What should I do to make sure it comes back and will it come back. I will put it out in the warm sunshine when it warms up outside probably in May. Thanks!
