I started Sweetpeas from seed this winter, 'Winter Elegance' and 'Perfume Delight', both of which are supposed to be more heat-resistant than most. I had lots of healthy seedlings, each around 3 inches high, which I planted in the same spot where I've had sucess with them before. This was at least 3 weeks ago, and they are just sitting there. Normally, they should have taken off and grown another 6 inches already, at least. I thought maybe they need fertilizer, so I scratched some in around each plant and watered. Still no progress than I can see. And we've had a really great Spring for them: cool, not terribly humid or hot. Oh, well. Here's some I picked from last year:
