The flowers belong to....Convolvulus arvensis.Field bindweed, common along edges and wasteland.Its funny because in the Dobies book you can get convolvulus seeds to grow.It is pretty and it had a faint smell unlike the greater bindweed which should smell, but doesnt.
I read all climbing plants twirl clockwise up stems, except bindweed which is a rebel without a cause.It climbs counter clockwise.Crazy.I thought that was just bath water going down the plug depending on what hemisphere you were on.
