Last Years Potato Plants

Posted by paulsmith78

I have just taken on an allotment where it had been left so long the weeds were 6 feet tall.  Having taken a power strimmer to the tops I then began digging to get the roots out.

It has now been 2 weeks and they are, in a small way, beginning to grow again as I work along the plot.  I have just noticed what appear to be potato plant leaves regrowing along a line in the centre of the plot.  Because of the size the plants I chopped down I assume these were planted last year.  Does anybody have any advice as to what I can when I dig these up?

When starting a quote remember to always look for a fair comparison for example don’t just go for the cheapest quote on a comparison site. But beware, you may not get extras that you would on a different policy such as Windscreen Protection, Breakdown cover etc. It really does pay to see exactly what is on offer..
