We all know gardening is good exercise and the "fruits" of your gardening labours are good for you, so why not get the kids involved? Perhaps if someone had gotten me interested in gardening, I would know more about it now. Article link.
It's fun for kids to get involved and to create. Most of all, kids generally like to get dirty (I didn't...maybe that's why my mom didn't teach me to grow a garden)!
