A kiwi girl who loves learning, interesting ideas and sharing those ideas with others. I'm in recovery for Anorexia Nervosa and working to regain my health, identity and ability to cope with life. I thrive on learning about anything and everything - this often poses a problem when thinking ahead to University Studies since I want to take every course! I started a Biomedical degree (bachelors) and while this is on hold - I am keen to return to it when I am ready. My main interest is Psychology, Linguistics and Neurology so I think I would like to travel that path one day. I'm an avid fan of the outdoors and adore tramping, skiing and climbing trees. New Zealand is a good place to these thankfully! I also have discovered a sincere passion for Gelato and Turkish bread of late. I'm not into labels but I think I fit 'geek' and 'nerd' - my safehouses are libraries, I do math homework for fun & I have a podcast addiction for science/education/news & radio theater casts. Also I tend to ramble and go on little mind-wanderings frequently. Which is likely to be apparent in this summary. I like to help others and if I can I'm always ready to lend an ear, hand or email. I hope I can get some friends and support through being a part of this network.
