Winter Indoor Play

With winter in full force, it's not likely you or your family members are getting outside to exercise much. I found an article with some helpful tips on how to "take fitness indoors": In a nutshell, create a free zone in which kids can run about without worrying about breaking anything or getting injured. After that, consider organizing some activities (they provide a link with game ideas.) Other ideas include signing up for a fitness class, use indoor facilities (like a community pool), or play hide and seek or other indoor games suggested in book The Family Fitness Fun Book: Healthy Living for the Whole Family (Healthy Living Books, 2005.)
