Skincare for Athletes: A Review of Annemarie Gianni’s Skincare

Remember that post, “You might be an athlete if…”, using bar soap on your face would be another addition to that list, me included. I did not use/nor did I care about my skin until I was in my mid- thirties!! And, I’ve spent the better part of my adult years teaching physical education OUTSIDE.
Yikes! Recently, I was given a gift of a facial where she “went in” and “dug out” a lifetime of blackheads. ICKKKKKK..Not only did I get the lecture of needing decent skincare- particularly in a moisturizer, but, also, to get that nice healthy glow, you need good skincare. Soap and water just isn’t going to cut.
With the big lecture still fresh in my mind, in comes a newsletter from the Health Ranger about Natural Organic Skincare by Annemarie Gianni. He raves about her products while at the same time claiming that all skincare products at the department store are toxic. So, I reached out to Annemarie Gianni’s Skincare Company regarding their skincare, and they’ve since sent me a complete set of the skincare line in tiny little bottles! The steps include: Aloe-Herb Cleanser, Ayurvedic Facial Scrub, Neroli Toning Mist,
Coconut Honey Mask, Anti-Aging Serum, Anti-Aging Facial Oil, and Herbal Facial Oils for normal or oily skin.
So far, my favorite product is the Neroli Toning Mist because I absolutely love the smell! My husband says I smell like pepper after I’ve gone through all the steps (cleanser, toner, anti-aging serum, and the anti-aging facial oil)–not sure that’s a complement or not, but, I adore the scents of all the products. In just five days of use, my skin is softer and shinier! I’ve also enjoyed pulling out all my little bottles, reading all the labels- each ingredient is natural and organic (the coconut mask is honey, olive oil, coconut oil, beeswax and vanilla powder) and testing each one. You know for sure, that I am concentrating on the Anti-Aging products in hopes to see even the slightest difference in the forehead wrinkles and such…
I will let you know if I see a reduction in fine lines, wrinkles or acne, but, so far, I am loving it! Would be a great gift for any mom this Christmas.

What do you all use on your skin? And, have you ever stopped someone on the street and asked them what skincare they use?
