Postpartum Weight Loss: Best Cardio if You Only Have 30 Min.

To Sara of Fit by Sara: “What cardio do you recommend if I only have 30 min. and I want to lose weight and tone up?”

If you only have 30 min. and you want great results I highly recommend interval training. An example of interval training is power walking (low to moderate intensity exercise) for 5-10 min. followed by quickly walking up and down a set of stairs (high intensity exercise) for 1-2 min.. Repeat the lower intensity exercise followed by the higher intensity exercise for a total of 30 min.  Other interval examples include power walking followed by a kickboxing interval, or powerwalking followed by a fast jog or sprint. The short high intensity intervals will boost your heart rate so you’ll burn a lot of calories, lose weight and tone up.
