Nutrition in pregnancy

During my second pregnancy, the midwife basically told me to diet. She told me I had started out at a pretty *healthy* weight already and that I didn't need to gain too much. WHATEVER! I told her there was no way no how I was going to diet during pregnancy. It's ridiculous. I gained 45 pounds, but guess what? Lost it all! Hah! Me and Jenny McCarthy that's right! Eat well, eat what you like, and don't worry about every little thing. Remember, the baby takes what she needs first, you get the leftovers.
