Being able to run now, without the pain that I dealt with in the beginning is a blessing. One of the many things I love about running is that the body can adapt to the process. It may be painful in the beginning, but the body can get used to the movement and next thing you know- you are reaching goals you never dreamed you could do! I can now run five miles without stopping. It’s a great feeling. I’m searching for some local 10ks to get involved with.
So besides last week’s horrible events - my personal week of diet and exercise was pretty normal..
But to get over that plataeu, I’m sure I’m going to have to readjust my schedule and diet.
But I have to confess- I’m not doing any goal setting this week.
This weekend is my girls weekend that has been planned for about a year. One weekend, 50 moms, no kids. I’m imagining that this would be a FANTASTIC reality show premise. And I can tell you that I am not planning on sticking to any strict diets this weekend.
I will regroup and create a new plan for the following week, though. The plan I’m currently following isn’t working anymore. :(
