Hello, friends!! I apologize for the lack of blogging action this weekend, but seriously, the weekends have gotten really busy around here, between soccer games, and fall activities, and me actually working on the weekends…Saturdays are super crazy around here, and I devote Sundays to cleaning up, because if I don’t, I will go crazy. I’m debating on whether or not it would be worth it to hire a cleaning company 2 times a month. I think the main thing holding me back is the guilt. #FirstWorldProblems
Anyway, here are some pictures from this weekend’s Halloween festivities:
This place holds trick-or-treating in their garden every year, and I’ve heard horror stories of how crazy it is every year, but I went in with the mindset that it would be insane, so it turned out not being so bad. The best part (for me) was finding out all about local businesses that I hadn’t heard about before…
there’s a Shake Bar in the area? Yes, please!
In addition to soccer and Halloween stuff, I taught both Saturday and Sunday morning and my quads are paying for it. It’s a good pain, though.
This morning, I woke up completely exhausted and needing an extra weekend day. I made it out to the gym anyway for Step Circuit, which I love. I noticed though, that my feet were hurting and they’ve been hurting for a week or two in any class that requires me to jump and hop around. I’m thinking it’s the shoes.
I bought these shoes about 5 months ago and they’ve been feeling a little thin in the sole lately. That, and my feet have been achy and feeling stressed during workouts. Since I had been wearing them everyday for nearly five months and jumping and hopping around in them, I figured it was just time to get some new trainers.
I was going to buy another pair of these particular shoes (Nike Free XT Quick) because I really liked them and how they looked, but got side-tracked in my research of cross trainers.
