{Gluten-Free} Grass-Fed Gourmet Bun-Less Burgers Recipe & Why You Should Hop On The Grass-Fed Train

Gluten-Free Grass-Fed Gourmet Bun-Less Burger. Simply Delicious.


I am a BBQ PitMaster-In-Training. My taste-buds love anything that’s grilled, but for some reason I haven’t really had the desire to learn how to grill until we moved to Florida. We eat burgers on a pretty regular basis so grilling burgers is really where I wanted to start. They’re simple, cook pretty fast and grass-fed beef is just out of this world yummy (and healthy).

If you aren’t on the grass-fed train, here are some reasons why you should hop on:

  • Grass-fed animals aren’t injected with hormones or fed growth promoting additives.
  • Its better for your body!
  • They roam and feed on their homeland and have low-stress levels so there are no reasons to be treated with antibiotics and other drugs. When we choose other meat WE ingest those funky antibiotics, additives, etc too.
  • Kick-Ass Farmers. Raising livestock on pastures requires skill, knowledge, science and more. They’re probably one of the top hardest workers around. They also care about themselves and us, because they know what we’re eating. For these reasons, they kick major ass.
  • Compared with feedlot meat, meat from grass-fed beef, bison, lamb and goats has less total fat, saturated fat, cholesterol, and calories.
  • Grass fed beef is up to six times higher in Omega-3 fatty acids which are essential for heart health and reduce the risk of arthritis, obesity, insulin resistance, allergies and autoimmune diseases.
  • It’s the healthiest and best choice all around. When we choose to eat meat, eggs, and other products from animals raised on pasture, we are improving the welfare of the animals, we are helping small-scale ranchers and farmers make a living from their land, helping to sustain rural communities, and giving our families the healthiest possible food. It’s a win-win-win-win situation.
  • Dinner tonight: Grass-Fed Gourmet Burgers, Avocado Slices, Sauteed Kale, Grilled Eggplant and Zucchini, Sauteed Mushrooms and Onions.


    These burgers are kept simple because Grass-Fed beef doesn’t have to be dressed up all fancy. The beef speaks for itself.


    {Gluten-Free} Grass-Fed Gourmet Bun-Less Burgers Recipe

    {Gluten-Free} Grass-Fed Gourmet Bun-Less Burgers Recipe


    • 1 lb Grass-Fed Ground Beef
    • 1 tsp Sea Salt
    • 1 tsp Pepper
    • 1 tsp Mrs Dash Steak Seasoning or Seasoning of Choice


    1. Preheat your grill to high.
    2. In a bowl, using your hands, combine all of the ingredients until evenly incorporated.
    3. Form into 4 equal sized burgers.
    4. Decrease grill temp to medium/ medium-low. GRASS-FED BEEF SHOULD ALWAYS BE COOKED LOWER & SLOWER. Whether its burger meat or other meat!!!
    5. Put the burgers on the grill and cook for 4 to 6 minutes on each side, depending on how well done you like them. I like mine pretty pink in the middle.
    6. Serve!
