Chicago Marathon Training Week 4/16

Posted Jul 22 2013 7:53pm

Oh my soreness.

The Old Port Half seemed to be the gift that just kept on giving this week.  Not only was I the sore-est (is that a word?) I have ever ever been, but my exhaustion and thirst were at all time highs.  So were the temperatures and the amount of times that I ran toddlers up and down hot sand to use the beach bathroom

BUT lets blame the Old Port Half mmk?

It amazes me that you can turn off a huge city bridge into the wilderness … Palisades Park is one fantastic gem
  • Spent the rest of the afternoon sitting in the pool while the kids cooled me down

From a different day … but you get the idea

How did you all fare in the heat?  Did you run in it?  Turn to a treadmill?  Postpone your long runs?
