Welcome to the Incourage Chronic Illness Community

Posted Oct 02 2012 7:38am

A couple of months ago,  (in)courage  put out a call for women to be leaders of community groups. I responded and was chosen to be the leader of a group for women with chronic illness.
I would love to introduce myself to you with my official bio………………………
Karen aka faithfamilyfibro is a life blogger at  Faith, Family, and Fibro .

Karen is a late blooming Christian wife and mama.  She married husband, Tony, almost 12 years ago at age 35.  They have two kids, Princess and Superhero who are 7 and 11.

Karen blogs about her old life as a single, liberal, and independent woman living in the “big” city and about her new life living in a small town as a married, conservative, Christian, wife and homeschooling mama pursuing Proverbs 31 while dealing with a chronic illness.

Karen has a chronic illness called fibromyalgia.  She wants to show others that even if you have a chronic illness you can still live an abundant life with a lot of faith, a positive attitude,  and  just a few adjustments.

Karen loves social media and you can find her hanging out on  twitter  and on  facebook  or her  blog facebook page .  Karen also manages a facebook support group known as  faithfamilyfibro .  In this group you can find fellowship if you have a chronic illness or if you know someone who has a chronic illness.

I have put together a closed facebook group which you can find here at this link.

https://www.facebook.com/ groups/522498881099807

It is a closed group and nothing we say can be see by anyone else in the group and everyone has to be approved to join the group.  We will be a source of encouragement to each other just like the website at Incourage has been to us.

We will also have a twitter hashtag #ciicomm which stands for chronic illness incourage community.

We hope you will join us at both places and we look forward to welcoming you to our new community!

To see the other community groups check out Incourage

In Faith,
Karen
