i came across this link and it is pretty great. very comprehensive information about fibromyalgia. people who have this syndrome could benefit from visiting this site. i think even more important is that fibro people pass this along to friends and family to help them better understand what you are going through. it is clear from reading this that managing fibro really is a full time job, actually it takes a 24/7 effort to be the best you can be. supportive friends and family means so much. my siblings, which is all the family i have left, have slowly disappeared from my life. when i lost my home in town, i was forced to move to my river cabin which is 50 miles away. i lost touch with everyone, except my sweetie, brian, who has stood by my side through all of this. i would be dead by now were it not for him coming into my life. we are very financially challenged :) and for a long time we had no phone and no internet, so that had some part in my losing contact with everyone. now things are getting better, but i have not tried to reestablish these relationships. i did try with one of my brothers, but it just didn't work. i think because he has no clue about what i have been through. and i have been through so much i find when i try to explain, they don't really believe me. so if you have a loved one or a good friend with fibro, please don't turn away from them. they really, really need you.
