I’ve been having some really great days lately - energy levels are up since I cut down on my sugar intake, and overall I’ve been feeling pretty good. There have been occasional times of pain, but overall it has decreased greatly.
I can attribute this to a couple of things - decreased sugar intake as part of a better eating plan, and exercise. Heaven knows I HATE my treadmill with a passion (and I’ve venture a guess that no fat gal likes a treadmill! *lol) but I know that over time the treadmill will become my friend as it helps me get to a healthier body. Right now it sucks, hard.
But I’m creating a rhythm with it. Knowing that my down time is always early afternoon, I get on the stupid treadmill right around lunch time and walk for 20-30 minutes, depending on how I feel. After that, I can collapse on the couch with the doggies and not feel guilty about it. It still sucks that I have to nap, but that’s the way it is right now. With 3 cuddly dogs and my MacBook by my side, I’m a pretty happy girl.
