It contains several forums for a number of conditions and I was thrilled to find one on fibromyalgia.
Back in 1998 when that was diagnosed, I had two physiotherapists tell me that there was no such disease and therefore they could only treat the symptoms. They BOTH implied that the pain was all in my head. I was enraged, disgusted and depressed.
But now that I have been told by a Rheumatologist and a Neurologist that fibromyalgia DOES exist - I’m in heaven!
My condition has a name - it is real.
