
If you have suffered from Guillian-Barre' Syndrome it is not safe for you to have a flu shot.
Below is a list of people who should and shouldn't receive a flu shot for further information visit: www.cdc.gov The Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
Who should get a Flu Shot:
Children 6 months - 19 years
Pregnant women
People 50 Years and over
People who live in nursing homes and long term care facilities
Health Care workers
People who are in contact with children 6 years and younger.
People who Shouldn't get a flu shot:
Those who have had an allergic reaction to eggs or previous flu shots
Those who have had Guillian-Barre' Syndrome (GBS)
