Have had recurring skin errosions due to stress. I have four of them right now. One beside my mouth and three below the chin. They are disgusting. There are like 30 heads of pus that come up every day. They scab in bubbles and the scabs start peeling off because of so much drainage. All last week I felt terrible. Every joint in my body hurt, but especially my knees and my hips. I have also been very tired. I went to see the dermatologist on Friday and have been cleaning it with an iodine scrub and putting desonide cream on it for the past four days. My knees feel better than they did last week. I just found out the culture showed up positive for a staph infection. He put me on antibiotics for the next 10 days. My wounds are looking better. Two are still wide open and swollen with those pus things. Could the staph have caused septic arthritis? Should I get more blood tests done from my primary DR?
