The most common symptoms that are worsened by menstruation are:

Tiredness
Headaches
Memory problems
Sleep disturbances

So knowing that for a lot of women with fibromyalgia this is a particularly difficult time of the month, what can you do to be prepared:

1. Avoid stressful situations
2. Use any relaxation techniques that you are comfortable with, e.g., medititation, breathing exercises
3. Think about cutting back on your normal commitments during the worst 2-3 days
