Fibro Improves with Anti-depressant Therapy

Posted Jan 17 2009 2:38am

A study published in the 14 January 2009 issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association indicates that “ Antidepressant medications are associated with improvements in pain, depression, fatigue, sleep disturbances, and health-related quality of life in patients with FMS.”

Wonderful news - I’m back on Amitryptilline for sleep problems, and have noticed a huge difference in my pain level.  After that Respiridone debacle, I’m very glad to know that not only is it helping my sleep, but it is helping manage my pain!
