DaySpring Redeemed Christmas Review, Giveaway and Big After Christmas Sale!

Posted Dec 26 2012 9:39am

During the year my front door holds a wreath .  I don’t just have one but many wreaths that welcome anyone that comes to my door.  I love having a welcoming pretty hanging on my door.  I have a fall leaf wreath and an Easter wreath.  I have a matchie poo poo wreath that matches my door.  I have more than one Christmas wreath  too.

My mom used to make scrap material wreaths when I was growing up.  Oh I loved those and can’t figure out what happen to the ones I collected.  Do you know that ones I am talking about?  They are so easy to make.  I am off to find a tutorial so I can show you how and teach my daughter.  If my mom wasn’t wintering in Texas I would have her come over and teach us both how to make them again.  That may be a job for her when she comes back to the snow.

The reason I love wreathes is that I want my home to feel warm and welcoming for everyone including the UPS and FEDEX deliverers, friends, family, and strangers.  I don’t think I have achieved the warm and fuzzy feeling inside my home yet but the door is one step in the right direction.  I think my mom has always achieved this feeling in her home and I know wreathes or pretties on the door has helped start the welcome.  I guess you could say wreathes remind me of my mom, my parents, growing up, and home no matter what house we lived in.

When I received this beautiful Hope Begins Here   wreath from Dayspring to review it just brought back so  many memories of my mom making wreathes and wreathes on the doors of welcoming homes.  This wreath reminds me of so many warm feelings and  I love it.  Have you seen this wreath ?

Oh yes it may be red and green but it won’t just be on my door during Christmas.  It will be on  my door many more days than that because of the message and the meaning.  Hope does begin with our Lord, Jesus Christ being born.  Oh what a blessing Christmas day represents.  The birth of my Saviour.  Where would I be if he hadn’t been born?  I would hate to think.

This wreath represents my hope for my life and my children’s lives.  The pretty red, green, and white material wreath reminds me of my worldly home with my parents and now my own family and the message of hope reminds me of my eternal home where I will feel love and warmth forever.
