Mary-Lynne wrote the following about her beneficial experience with Cold Laser Therapy.
My pain and problem areas were "all over" with the constant aching, pain and fatigue. I have approximately 90 trigger points which is a lot! Once I returned from Tahoe and the pain returned, I also noticed that I had extreme pain on my left shoulder blade as well as just above the shoulder blade region. Those were not problematic until my return from Tahoe. The cold laser therapy is specifically used on the areas mentioned above in what a typical session might last 10 minutes. The pain in those areas is almost gone and I found whenever those areas start to ache and throb, it's not long before my whole body is hurting. The cold laser therapy is rebuilding damaged tissue and improving circulation to my trouble spots (shoulder region). I started a regimen of going twice a week the first week and for about a month now, I only go once every 2 weeks. Sometimes, I don't even feel I need to go by the second week because I'm have little to no pain. I am able to do much more than I've done before without any consequences. The question remains, will it last? How long will it last, ect. So far, other than the brief feeling of well being I gained while I was in Tahoe, nothing else I've tried except for the cold laser has provided any sort of relief or healing. I am also on an ATP supplement which has malic acid and that along w/my therapy is what's working for me now. It has been almost 2 months that I've been receiving treatment and the positive results have been continuous- improving with each passing day. The laser therapy can be used on different parts of the body where there is pain, but in my situation it seems that addressing the neck shoulder region on my left side with the laser takes all the pain throughout my body away. Hope this helps.
