I am a 36-year old woman who's tried for five years to get pregnant using both traditional and medical/artificial means. My husband and I have been married for almost 12 years, and are also in the process of trying to adopt a little boy from Vietnam (but it's not going well). Despite being able to belt out a whooping 22 eggs during a retrieval and husband's super sperm count, and after taking what seems like gallons of fertility drugs and hundreds of pre-natal vitamins to no avail, we have never been able to conceive.  We pulled out all of the stops and tried working with a gestational carrier in hopes of creating offspring, but that didn't work either. Throughout our quest to bring a baby into our lives, we have tried to keep our sanity and sense of humor and find the lighter side of infertility.
